Sonia's halo vanishes

The much hyped "sacrifice" of Sonia which won her great accolades has finally run dry. Once again the congress has proved that it is capabale of only one thing, undermining of democracy wherever possible. Read this news piece in the rediff about the so called Operation Decoy carried out by the opposition NDA to escape the clutches of Sonia and her cohorts. Looks like a story line from a thriller movie, nail biting to the end.

the 'secular' folks will blast BJP for acting in contempt of the governer's authority... they will also blaim BJP for not submitting themselves to the will of 'democracy' and accuse them of setting a dangerous trend that will cause 'irrepairable' damage to the pluralistic society of the country....

..while the BJP has acted 'street-smart' in their planning & execution, one cannot help but wonder where all this capability of precise planning and perfect execution went for a hibernation when they ran the government ....

Its really sad that on one hand India preaches democracy to Nepal and on the other hand squashes her own democratic principles.

Somehow, as far my memory goes, we did not see so much controversy with the post of governor under the previous dispensation. Looks like such violations are the forte of the Indian National Congress alone !
