Musharraf fails his first test

Remember Pervez Musharraf, the former President/CEO/General of Pakistan.

Remember one his major selling points when he overthrew Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif ? It was to clean up Pakistani politics and bring about genuine democracy. Well he just failed his first test.

What is ironic about all this is that the very position Musharraf gave up is now going to be occupied by the very same kind of person who the General vowed to root out of public life.

Public life and public promises have finally come a full circle for the former President.
